It's always a little bit controversial - do we auction on a public holiday or during the school holidays? Won't buyers be on holidays? Are we tapping into the widest possible market? But then, is this giving the real buyers a chance to come forward? Now that we have been through a Covid year, let's see what the experts now think, and what we should expect for 2021.

1. At the end of 2020, we were seeing properties being auctioned on the 24th December with just 2 week campaigns. And there is already a race to get a campaign started with open for inspections starting on the 2nd January. As we come into 2021, do you think that we will start seeing properties being auctioned on a public holiday weekend or during the school holidays?
2. Why do agents prefer not to auction on public holiday weekends and during school holidays?
3. In terms of holding an auction, what positives has covid created for the auction process?
